Chief Financial Officer - California
New opening for A Chief Financial Officer to join financially strong and well positioned Firefighters First Credit Union ($1.09B in assets) located in Los Angeles, California, adjacent to beautiful Pasadenda. The credit union has rich history of success and the potential for significant impact through a culture built upon dedication and high touch service to first responder firefighters. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced and progressive leader, with financial services experience, to contribute on a strategic level with an executive team that is aligned for the future. The successful candidate must have proven experience as a CFO, investment oversight, risk management business practices, strong accounting experience, and exceptional strategic analytical talent. The position reports directly to the Executive Vice President who engages with the executive team in collaborative communication resulting in the formulation of strategic initiatives with a focus on execution. It is essential that the candidate have excellent communication skills, extensive analytical capacity and the ability to lead direct reports as a part of the organization’s foundation for success. This position requires an undergraduate degree in finance and a CPA or CFP designation or similar background within a complex financial institution, preferably a credit union or community bank.
