Why should you participate in the UNDERGROUND?

I love that the UNDERGROUND is a safe place to have really hard, tough conversations on relevant current events. Probably my favorite part of it is the "Ideas Into Action." It’s not this pie in the sky, big stuff up there (we talk about those things too, of course). We create real actionable items we can put into action.

I think the UNDERGROUND is an opportunity to have discussions for progressive credit union leaders who want to be here 20 years from now. I can go in and say that I may not like what I’m going to hear, but it’s a different view point of view. I can learn something from it. It may not change my mind, but if nothing else, I’m going to learn something different from this and challenge the way I’m doing things and be a better leader because of it.
